  • Testing and Validation: Opportunity identification in growth hacking often involves rapid experimentation to validate potential areas of growth before scaling efforts.

  • In Design Thinking: Identifying an opportunity to improve the experience of booking travel by observing that users find it challenging to compare flight and accommodation options on existing platforms.
  • In Growth Hacking: Discovering an opportunity to enhance retention by analysing user data and finding that onboarding completion rates correlate strongly with long-term engagement.
