  • Focusing on Metrics: The canvas highlights key metrics, enabling growth hackers to prioritise experiments that align with measurable objectives such as user acquisition, retention, or revenue.
  • Testing Assumptions: The Lean Canvas helps identify assumptions about the market, users, or product. Growth teams can design experiments to validate these assumptions and refine their strategies.

Examples of Application:

  • In Design Thinking: Using a Lean Canvas to define the problem statement for a meal-planning app, targeting busy professionals, and outlining a solution that focuses on quick, customised recipes.
  • In Growth Hacking: Mapping out a strategy for a subscription service, identifying social media as the primary acquisition channel and retention as the key metric, and testing campaigns based on this focus.
